Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using A11y, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Use of the service

A11y is provided for legitimate accessibility auditing purposes. You must not: attempt to reverse-engineer the scanning engine, use the service to scan content you do not own or have permission to scan, or use automated systems to generate fraudulent scans. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Scan results and accuracy

A11y uses automated tools to identify potential accessibility issues. Automated checks cannot guarantee complete WCAG conformance. Final verification using assistive technology (such as JAWS or NVDA) is recommended before publishing. A11y reports are intended to assist, not replace, expert accessibility review.

Intellectual property

All scan reports generated for your content remain your property. The A11y platform, scanning engine, and all related software are owned by A11y and protected by copyright. You may not copy or redistribute the platform.

Payment and subscriptions

Pay-per-scan and subscription fees are charged as described on the Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Limitation of liability

A11y is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, A11y is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
