Frequently asked questions
Is this checklist a replacement for the full Guide?
No, it is a fast pass for someone who already understands why each check matters. If a check does not make sense, the full Guide explains it and shows how to fix it in Storyline.
How long does the checklist take to complete?
About 15 minutes for a typical course, most of that is repeating the Look, Interact, and Listen checks once per slide.
Can I fill this out digitally or does it need to be printed?
Both work. It is a real fillable PDF form, or print it and check boxes by hand.
Does the checklist replace running an A11yCheck scan?
No. The checklist is what a human confirms by eye, ear, and keyboard. A scan catches what is easy to miss doing that manually. The two are meant to be used together.
What if I only build Rise courses, not Storyline?
Use the separate Rise Accessibility Quick Checklist instead, it follows the same structure but matches Rise's actual settings and defaults.
