How to Fix Small or Clipped Text in Rise 360

Overview

Rise's native Text blocks reflow automatically, so clipping at zoom almost always comes from one place: text placed inside a Labeled Graphic marker, or inside an Embed block, where the surrounding container has a fixed size. Separately, body text set smaller than about 12px is hard to read even before zooming, whether it's in a native block or a custom one.

Step-by-step instructions

   Check the font size setting on the block, if body text is smaller than roughly 14px, increase it.

   For text inside a Labeled Graphic marker: zoom your browser to 200% and check whether the marker's popup text gets cut off, markers have less room than a full-width Text block.

   If it clips, shorten the marker text, or move the detail into a linked Text block below the graphic instead of packing it all into the marker.

   For an Embed block: check whether the embedded container has a fixed pixel height that clips its own content when the page is zoomed, this needs to be fixed in the embedded code itself.

   Preview the finished lesson at 200% zoom as a general habit, not just on the blocks you suspect.
